Jeanne Palfrey and I had made friends for a few years before her death.  I do not believe she killed herself.   We had agreed once her trial was over - we were going to work together as producers to make a movie about the way our society has turned the modern day madam into the witch hunts all over again.  The archetype of the way we tend to view strong rebellious women in any form as something the males in power feel they need to destroy.  I'm currently working on a script for this idea - along with a book on my memoirs.  My book isn't so much about my life as a madam - but more about the 20 plus years of working with helping others come out of the sex industry along with all it's trials and tribulations.  We have come a long way to make a society where a wife can actually press rape charges against her own husband now.  That is unless that woman is a sex worker - and nothing has changed.  How do you change your life when you truly have no one to count on but yourself?  When the "bad guys" aren't just pimps and serial killers - but the very system that runs our society itself?
